The DigiBook™
10000BW grayscale scanner is part of the SUPRASCAN range of which it
has all the advantages.
Like all
the products in this range, the DigiBook™ 10000BW scanner can
be equipped with a book cradle (optional) and other equipment such as
a light table or removable glass panel.
The maximum
size of works requiring digitization is 600 mm (h) x 860 mm (w) (>
DIN A1) with a maximum thickness of 50 cm and a maximum weight of 40
kg (maximum thickness and weight with the optional book cradle).
The scanner
head is fitted with a 10000 pixels linescan CCD.
You can select
the digitization mode - grayscale or binary, and the image compression
and storage modes. Depending on the modes selected, the file format
is JPEG with variable parameters, or uncompressed TIFF for images with
grayscale, and TIFF G4 for binary images.
Digitized
images have a 400 ppi optical resolution (2 x A2 format) up to 700 ppi
(2 x A4 format).
As an example,
the DigiBook™ 10000BW can output approximately 480 pages / hour
for a 2 x A4 format at 400 ppi, without processing. Productivity reaches
960 pages / hour in 'half-resolution' mode (200 ppi). All these performances
are possible thanks to a bi-directional scanning.
You can improve
productivity still further by combining the DigiBook™ 10000BW
and the Book Restorer™ software which can manage all the image
restorations required for the formatting of your work directly on-screen
or as a background task.
