e-Scan allows you to obtain immediate printed copies (with optional printer) or scans of books and documents up to 20.5 x 14 inches and four inches thick (with optional book cradle). The system utilizes a 15” new generation touchscreen in concert with its intuitive and elegant interface. All options, operation, real-time previews and scanned image thumbnails are managed with the touchscreen. The kiosk offers comfort and speed thanks to a 100% automatic adjustment (crop, auto focus, exposure time, white balance). The user can adjust brightness and contrast manually and enjoy image enhancements for an optimal scan. In addition, working in an office lighting environment, e-Scan guarantees an optimal preservation of the rare and fragile documents. Optional Four Inch Cradle To accommodate a wider range of books, a four inch cradle is available as an option on the e-Scan.

I2s has designed a green replacement for toner & paper hungry copiers found in reading rooms across the nation. By saving digital images to USB drives, email, or a network the institution will discover significant savings compared to the high cost of paper copiers. The e-Scan allows a first time user to easily navigate using the 15’’ touch screen monitor and select their desired format for each scan. The kiosk allows for optimal scans all while under natural office lighting.

47.5 LBS We have been using 4 i2S e-Scan Scanning Kiosks at Dalhousie University for over 6 months now. The students love them. They are easy to use and require no staff assistance. Service from the supplier, iimage retrieval has been superb. Software updates have been timely and simple to install. All queries from staff have been dealt with expertly and expeditiously.
