A0/E Vacuum table

(Available only with A0/E Book Scanner)

The vacuum table is an accessory for perfectly flattening of all kinds of documents with paper that is wavy, crushed, folded or rolled. It accepts every format up to A0 /E and has a usable surface of 34 1/2 x 58 inches. It consists of a honeycombed plate and two vacuum arms linked to two turbines. These can placed at a distance of 16 feet from one another and positioned in a close and isolated room to minimize noise disturbance to the operator.

The vacuum power is adjustable. No overlaid transparent Mylar is necessary to hold down small format documents. The vacuum's on/off function is controlled by a footswitch.

The vacuum table option is adapted to the A0 scanner and is installed on a wheel table for ease of use.
