Rare & Fragile Materials
Digitizing rare and fragile materials to PDF, TIFF, JPEG and more requires skilled hands and Image Retrieval is proud to offer more than three decades of experience in rare and fragile documents. Our scanners are top of the line technology that can handle books with strict handling requirements (such as only partially opening), oversized maps that lay flat, loose documents that require extra care, etc.

Artwork
When it comes to accurate capture of art, you can’t cheat the camera. That’s why Image Retrieval uses i2s technology to faithfully capture every color and detail on your artwork. Whether you are a company or an individual, Image Retrieval can digitize your collection.
-
Better pixels & color – i2s tech can’t be beat. We don’t interpolate, we capture using a proprietary tri-linear CCD sensor that has dedicated red, green and blue channels to get every color and fine detail.
-
Better lighting – we use embedded LEDs in our scanners that do not give off UV or infrared, meaning that we satisfy even museum standards to ensure that your work is not damaged or stressed.
Newspapers
Using the latest scanners from i2s, Image Retrieval can scan bound and unbound newspapers up to 24x36” to PDF, TIFF, JPEG and more. We are pleased to offer features such as color-managed workflow to ensure that the colors found on your material are what our scanners pick up, multiple output format and up to 600dpi true optical resolution.
