IImage Retrieval, Inc. Celebrates 30 Years

Company Offers New Trade-In Program, Offering Significant Savings

Carrollton, TX September 4, 2020 — While the Covid-19 pandemic has slowed down business for some, IImage Retrieval (Image Retrieval) is proud to continue with “business as usual,” as the company celebrates three decades of providing high quality scanners and digitization services to universities, museums, government entities, and more. With employees and students spending more time working remotely, there is an increased need for organizations to digitize books and documents that may not have been readily available online.

“Thirty years ago, I would never have thought we would be where we are today.  I must say thank you to our loyal customers that I have come to know over the years. I look forward to providing the same level of service and support for the next 30 years. It has been a privilege to grow in the industry, learning so much from all of our customers along the way,” said Derek Jenkins, President & CEO, Image Retrieval.

Image Retrieval’s product lines are driven by customer feedback. They are committed to delivering the latest product updates, while providing convenient installation and technical support.  As part of their 30-year anniversary, the company is expanding upon their successful trade in program that would allow customers to trade in older model i2s scanners for the latest CopiBook OS, CopiBook V, or QUARTZ scanners. Their new promotion allows its customers to trade in any brand of used book scanner and upgrade to the latest i2s model at a significant discount. In the past, their trade-in program was only available for legacy i2s scanners.

“In celebration of this major milestone, I’ve requested that our sales team expand the i2s trade-in program that we have been running for the last few years to include all comparable scanners. This trade-in program will result in significant savings for our customers and allow them to upgrade their equipment to the latest planetary scanning technology on the market,” said Jenkins.

Image Retrieval is the U.S. reseller for i2s, who manufacturers high-end planetary scanners designed for archival digitization of bound and unbound cultural heritage materials .
