Image Retrieval provides photo, slide, and book scanning services. We also sell and support planetary and microfilm scanners. This policy explains how we collect and use information from people who contact us, request a quote, purchase equipment, or use our services.

Information we collect

When you contact us through our website, a Google Ads lead form, email, or phone, we may collect your name, business or organization name, email address, phone number, and details about what you need.

For scanning projects, we may collect project instructions and receive your photos, slides, books, and the digital files created from them. These materials may contain personal information.

For scanner sales and support, we may collect information about the equipment you are interested in or own, such as its model, serial number, purchase details, and the issue for which you need support. If you place an order, we may also collect billing and delivery information, if applicable.

Our website uses cookies or similar tools to understand site traffic and measure advertising results.

 

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, provide scanning services, communicate about scanner purchases, provide equipment support, fulfill orders, deliver materials and digital files, process payments, and maintain business records.We also use contact information to send marketing messages about our services and equipment. You may ask us to stop sending these messages.

 

How we share information

We may share information with providers that help us operate our business, such as Google Sheets, payment processors, CRM, shipping companies, or scanner manufacturers. We share information as needed to provide our services, fulfill orders, or support equipment.

Customer materials and digital files

We use materials supplied for scanning and the files we create to complete and deliver your project. We keep original materials until the project has been picked up or shipped out. We keep digital files for a minimum of 30 days while the customer reviews the files. Files will be purged either when storage space is required or requested by the customer.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information, equipment details, and materials entrusted to us. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information where we are able to do so.
